MUMBAI: The English entertainment
genre again witnessed a shuffle in
Week 40, with AXN re-entering the
chart at the second spot pushing Star
World out of the top three. The
English movie channels also saw a
change, with HBO again coming back
into the top three.
As per BARC data for the week ended 9
October, Zee Café continued its lead
in the English entertainment genre
due to surge in ratings.
AXN took the No. 2 position after a
week, pushing Comedy Central to the
third spot, despite the latter seeing a
rise in viewership.
Consequently, Star World, which was
No. 3 in the previous week, was
pushed out of the top three.

witnessed a change in hierarchy, with
HBO making it to the top three yet

Although Star Movies slipped from the
third spot, it still managed to have
the top-rated movie of the week by
Sony Pix grabbed the second spot with
the American monster film ‘Godzilla’,
while Movies Now got the third spot by
airing ‘White House Down’.
For the first time, WB managed a spot
in the top five movies of the week by
airing ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’,
