The Exit Polls were derived out of the random stratified sample of 35000+ interviews, covering all 243 segments in the state during the polling days. Long term trends of historical data from @cvoterindia exit polls archives of 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2014 elections and Bihar Tracking Poll helped formulate the data wherein the margin of error in vote share calculation is +/-3% at State level and +/- 5% at Regional level.
TIMES NOW will distill the numbers to provide the viewers with an understanding of the pattern that could emerge from this election. After the Exit Poll, TIMES NOW will also compile the result of two other Polls released by Today’s Chanakya and ABP-Nielsen to release a poll of polls.
