Discovery Asia Pacific acquires new show from GRB Entertainment

MUMBAI: Discovery Asia Pacific is
among the many international
broadcasters that has acquired a new
factual title ‘Super Swank’ from LA-
based distribution and production firm
GRB Entertainment.
GRB Entertainment announced several
deals of factual titles to UK, Ireland,
India, Poland, France, French
speaking territories, Benelux and
Canada. The series sold include
documentary soap ‘The Agency’,
travelogue ‘Super Swank’ and
Discovery’s ‘Auction Kings’.
GRB Entertainment SVP international
distribution Mike Lolato said, “GRB is
known around the world for insightful
and entertaining factual shows and
we are pleased to bring some of our
best to our global broadcast partners,
programs their audiences will
embrace. These deals represent a
small portion of what we will be
announcing shortly, we are looking
ahead to our best fall season yet.”
It inked deals with TVN Poland and
Game TV (English speaking, Canada)
for ‘The Agency’, a behind-the-
scenes look at the modelling world.
Discovery Asia Pacific took ‘Super
Swank’, offering an exclusive peek at
luxury lifestyle including yachts,
spas, resorts, homes and more.
Discovery Europe (France, French
speaking territories, Benelux)
acquired two seasons of the auction
house series ‘Auction Kings’. National
Geographic (UK, Ireland) renewed the
title ‘Inside American Hate’, an in-
depth investigation into racism and
hatred in US.
