The update will not only bring the latest build of Android to the phone, it also will update the UI to LG UX 4.0 and add features currently available on LG’s latest flagship model, the [url=http://www.phonearena.com/phones/LG-G4_id9104]LG G4[/url].
While no specific date was mentioned for the update, Android 5.1.1 is expected to start rolling out some time in the next two months. Carrier branded versions will have to wait for testing to be done and some carriers do take longer than others to complete this process.
