Imran Khan, nephew of actor Aamir Khan and grandson of producer-director Nasir Hussain, is known for his natural and effortless acting and is a superstar in the making.
Khan made couple of appearances as child artist in the movies, ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ (1988) and ‘Jo Jeeta wohi Sikander’ (1992). Interestingly, in both these movies, he played the role of young Aamir Khan.
His debut role as an adult in the blockbuster Bollywood movie, ‘Jaane Tu….Ya Jaane Na’, pushed him to stardom and won him the Filmfare Award for ‘The Best Male Debut’. The movie grossed over Rs. 77 Cr at the Box Office. He then delivered a bunch of commercially successful films such as ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ (2010), ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011), ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ (2011).
Imran Khan co-hosted the 54th and 56th Filmfare Awards alongside Ranbir Kapoor. He was much appreciated for his spontaneity and sense of humor.
