Micromax seems set to soon launch a budget Android KitKat smartphone in India, the Micromax Bolt S300, as it has been listed for purchase by an online retailer at Rs. 3,300.

The Bolt S300 smartphone is also listed on Micromax's Russia website, but the company hasn't announced the smartphone or listed it on its India site yet. Meanwhile, it is also said to be available via offline retail channels as well, as tipped by an established Mumbai-based retailer on Monday.

The dual-SIM Micromax Bolt S300 runs Android 4.4.3 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz single-core (unknown chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The Micromax Bolt S300 packs 0.3-megapixel front and rear cameras. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 2.1 options. The Bolt S300 packs a 1200mAh battery, which according to the online retailer's listing, is rated to deliver up to 4.5 hours of talk time and up to 155 hours of standby time. The smartphone is only listed with a motion sensor (accelerometer).

Recently, the company had launched the successor to the popular Canvas Juice smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Juice 2, at Rs. 8,999. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor (unspecified chipset) clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. The Canvas Juice 2 sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and also includes a 2-megapixel front-facing fixed focus camera.
