A Versatile Actor
Born in Kerala and brought up in Pune, Kay Kay Menon is a versatile Bollywood Actor known for his intense and serious acting. However he has also tried his hand successfully in comic roles.

Known among his college friends as the singer of Ghazals, Kay Kay started his career with advertising, doing ads for Kinetic Honda and Marlboro Cigarette in India. He gradually moved to television and then Bollywood. His debut film was ‘Naseem’ (1995) followed by ‘Bhopal Express’ (1999).

One of the best performances of Kay Kay came in ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ (2003) where his performance was greatly appreciated and acclaimed. His performance as the anguished DCP in the movie ‘Black Friday’ (2004) won him a lot of praise from the critics. His portrayal of a spoilt son in ‘Sarkar’ (2005) earned him a nomination in Filmfare ‘Best Villian’ Award in 2007. ‘Sarkar’ grossed Rs. 40 Cr at the Box Office.

His other strong performances include ‘Gulaal’ (2009), ‘Shaurya’ (2008), ‘The Stoneman Murders’ (2009) etc.
