I am following what i had experianced in my last 30 years of Sat tracking .... mine some points may be not written in those technical books but i found them better than those tech guys... many times u and others might seen the Signal levels pictures from my STB s.. thats only bcoz of my own adjustments..

i think this cud the best reason y i m not getting good pq on any of the hd channels.
adtv really sucks. mine dish is 6+ years old and till time it is not displaced which means i never asked for any alignment.

Picture and Audio quality has nothing to do with how much signal u r getting. Even at 20% quality u would get same picture and audio, its just that in adverse weather ur signals would give issue and disappear more.

the technicians in my area specially first close the complaints and afterwards they try to help u.  Angry

even i escalated this issue with higher authority of adtv and the management told me that they are not on the payrolls of adtv (the technicians ). they have tie ups with them (so called authorized service centres )

as my city is very big and highly populated so they have 4 authorized service centres.

Ur thinking also doesnt give u the optimum signals.....        u have to get best signals in the weakest Transponder ... then its to be treated as Fine... Remember Home Transponders always the strongest ones ... bcoz every updates or any Tech related work is done through Home transponder itself.. if Home TP goes off then every thing goes off....

kumarbhai sir ji

i am not getting full signal strength and quantity in any of the channels. what should i do now ?

Sir, i always adjust according to home tp. It works both ways, even if one geta max signals possible in home tp after adjustments then in the wekest tp too one would get max signals. So no issue in this. I get all my dishes and lnb skew adjusted perfectly.

RE: Please tell your signal strength and quality
It doesnt matter how much signals u r getting to effect the PQ in Digital signals.... many r comparing Analog signals with Digital signals... Yes in Analog signals the Quality of signals effect the PQ but in Digital signals if the Picture is not freezing and working fine then its more than enough for PQ .. that doesnt change according to the signals like in Analog ...
I was watching Doordarshan from 1981 using VHF antenna .. we have to get very good signals to get the correct pictures ... to watch then it has to be almost perfect signals to be needed... For Digital signals nothing like that .. just get signals so then pictures doesnt freeze and correct audio is coming... thats enough .. it may be 1% or 100% ... doesnt make differance...

till the time it is in green it won't suck u. if it is in yellow which means @ 20% signal quality, pq degrades. 100 % sure about that. but till now i have no issue regarding pq n aq and i never faced any kind of channels disappearing or signal completely loss issue.

even in normal rains also it works like anything.
but yes in heavy rains it completely lost.  Lol

Lol Please dont start again on this matter.... i never agree ur points at any time... : Tongue  I have started my Sat journey since 1981 by aligning VHF antenna       and even modifying them to get good signals on my own...    personally was climbing long/big trees to align those Aluminium Antenna...
so be happy bro....
