Sorry , I Dont know the exact number of channels can be added in a KU Band TP but it varies and depends upon the capacity of TP , it differs Sat to sat too..
BTW Tatasky has added more channels in a TP against the experts numbers .

As mentioned by Mr.Bhat, it depends on that Carrier and other aspects of that satellite and few other techinical specifications.

DTH operators can give more HD channels by spoiling the quality of channels, at 10 -12 HD they are giving good quality, but if they add more it just reduces the quality of channels. I guess Max the Dth operators will try to squeeze in somewhere around 15 HD on DVB S2
