It is 36Mhz not 3. I think it was typo error Smile

Yes bro, its a typo error. Thanks for correcting Smile

We have the option of changing the subtitles and also we can off it. I think 3 language subtitles (French, Malay and Chinese) are available.

In Indian DTH services, the subtitles are blocked for customers. We don't have the option of choosing the language.

yes we can change subtitles

Won't Tatasky use Mono Block like Dish to get ABS 2? Big Grin
#74
As it is tatasky i dont think they will use such mono block but will instead give new Dish antenna itself
#75
Right, They are called as Premium DTH by few . so they might choose new Dish Instead of MB LNB. Tongue
Perhaps the DVR system of recording also effect in MB LNB. just a guess only.

Got some info that HITS can be used in even KU band also and some saying that it might be Hinduja HITS

And here report says the testing may start in January 2015 and we got these 2 tps in january ..

tony d'silva ( former Sun Direct ) is now MD and CEO here

Hinduja Ventures has planned to run the field testing of Headend in the Sky (HITS) platform in January-February 2015 in India. It will officially roll out the service by April 2015. It has planned to captivate over eight to ten million subscribers during the testing phase.

“We are working as per the plan and are on schedule. By the time we launch, we will have close to 8-10 million consumers being serviced through our HITS platform” said Tony D’silva, MD and Group CEO of IMCL.

“We want to test our services and make sure that the set top boxes (STBs) are of top quality. There have been a lot of issues with the boxes all across the country and so we want to subject the STBs to all kinds of heat, cold and dust test,” he added.

The company has planned to enter into an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for set-top-boxes. The company is the third company in India to receive a HITS licence after Essel Group and Noida Software Technology Park

That's great news . As i doubted of HITS , KU band also can be used for HITS now. So the confusions are almost gone .

If the HITS provider install bigger dish then probably the service doesn't get issues
