There are several statistical highlights today and yesterday

* Sachin tendulkar completes 22 years of Test Career. He played his first test match against Pakistan on 15th Nov 1989. He is now at nineth position in the list of highest carrer spans, which is headed by an English All rounder (30 Years 9 Months). Probably Sachin may not beat this record

* Laxman crosses Viv Richards in test aggregate runs and is at sixteenth position in highest run getters.

* Dhoni, who has created a record for India with 200 dismissals as wicket keeper in first test becomes the first Indian Keeper to score Five Test Centuries.

* Laxman equalled Azhar's record of highest Test centuries at a particular venue, when he has made his 5th century at Eden Gardens.

* Laxman breaks record of Gavaskar for making highest runs at a particular venue. Gavaskar was having the record for about 1100 runs at Wankhede, Mumbai, which Laxman beats at Eden Gardens
Congrats to landmark achievers.
