Dialog TV changed the FEC and Modulation of TP 11550 V 28800 ,
FEC From 3/5 to 1/2
Modulation From DVBS2 To NBC - QPSK [QPSK2]. this is known as advanced version of 8PSK. from few days most trackers not getting signals including me in this TP. this may be the reason as the STB,PCI Card are not compatible to them.Although few other same modulation TPs were signals from other satellites.
Now - 11550,V,28800,12,S2,NBC_QPSK

NBC - QPSK [QPSK2]Huh

think

if tatasky uses this NBC - QPSK [QPSK2] then we could not catch this signal with our receivers:verysad:

as we know tata sky started changing their mpeg 2 boxes to mpeg4 boxes a year back

if their new box are compatible with NBC - QPSK [QPSK2] Big Grin

its tata sky  they choose the best hardware for stb and headend compared to other dth

As far as i have seen earlier NBC-QPSK is almost like 8PSK, TPs with this Modulation signals are available from other satellites. this modulation was few years ago itself . now there may be advanced versions/codes .
if Tatasky chooses the advanced version then most of us are helpless or has to buy new compatible gadgets Sad
#4
if they start testing with this modulation we will not be able to track it
#5
We can track it and get the TP details but may not scan in Dvb Dream like the above TP.we can get even 32APSK TP but not able to get signals to scan.
#6
yes most of sat meter available with dish technicians are dvbs2 qpsk, 8psk but not qpsk2
#7
For example :
12696,H,4852,34,S2,32APSK
This TP is a data from ABS2. it stores in Blind scan but not able to get signals in PCI Card scan because Mine Card doesn't support 32APSK toget signals.

Actually QPSK2 is known as 8PSK itself and gets signals most of the time but may be a new version doesnt get signals.
#9
but if tata sky uses new version then sat meter will not show signal
#10
Yes. only their meter or other compatible meters can olny get signals.
