Congrats bro. Looking forward to more updates from you
One thing i have noticed that This STB doesn't support Diseqc 1.1 according to the Solid specifications. so then we have to use 1.0 and 1.2 perhaps 1.2 Diseqc switch is rarely available. Is diseqc 8×1 switch 1.0 is . available ?
no dear 1.0 will support diseqc 4x1, 2x1 only

Yes . only supports upto 4×1 . if he wants 8 port then he should buy 1.2 which is rarely available in the market. so i think it's a drawback in this STB.
I dont know about this particular model stb but the stb my friend bought few years back which was also full HD had 8 ports options etc.,. So this will also mostly have I think.
this specifications from Solid site itself .

We have one thread

this was posted in 2011 by LNB15K. That stb and Solid are same category. When that time itself that feature was there. So buy now it should be in this as well. My guess.

On second page Sadiq says he also has same software for his Solid STB.
