Airtel Digital TV, one of the leading DTH service providers in India, has removed Star Sports VIP and related channels from its platform.
Star Sports VIP was a premium sports channel that offered ad-free live and exclusive coverage of cricket. It also had four sub-channels: Star Sports VIP Key moments, Star Sports Key Highlights, Star Sports VIP Playlist, and Star Sports VIP Key moments HD. These sub-channels provided curated clips and highlights of the best moments.
These channels were part of the Star Premium pack on Airtel Digital TV, which costs Rs. 100 per month. The pack also includes other Star channels like Star Movies Select HD, Star World Premiere HD, National Geographic HD, etc. Subscribers could also add these channels to their existing pack by using the a-la-carte option.
However, from today onwards, these channels are no longer available on Airtel Digital TV. This may disappoint many sports fans who enjoy watching the live and exclusive action and the key moments from various sports events on these channels.
