Tata Sky is fully focused to bring in maximum new subscribers as DAS 3 & DAS 4 deadline ends. They are now not only competing with other Private DTH Operators but trying level best to capture the cable tv subscribers. I think they will be highly successful in this now that they are providing many more channels in each genre than what digital cable tv provides but still some shortcomings need to be sorted out. No other DTH/MSO is even close to Tata Sky & still many additions are waiting to happen. What they need to do now is to lower package, add on & A-La-Carte rates bcoz then only cable tv subscribers can be lured into buying a DTH connection otherwise people will be happy to stay with cable & be satisfied with what they are getting.
