To better connect with Indian anime fans, Crunchyroll plans to launch a dedicated TV channel, Crunchyroll TV, within the next 12 months. Additionally, the company aims to collaborate with local creators to develop shows based on Indian intellectual properties (IPs) over the next year or two.
The company expanded its presence in India with the opening of its second office in Hyderabad, focusing on backend operations like localisation, enterprise technology, and data analytics.
