Investigation Discovery HD, a 24×7 channel dedicated to real-life crime stories, is now available on Tata Play platform at channel number 155.
Investigation Discovery HD, also known as ID HD, is a joint venture between Discovery Networks and NDTV, two of the biggest media conglomerates in India. The channel aims to cater to the growing demand for crime and investigation genre among the Indian audience, who are fascinated by the mysteries and thrillers of the real world.
The channel will showcase a mix of original and acquired shows, spanning various themes and formats. Some of the shows that will be aired on the channel include Crime Patrol, Savdhaan India, Forensic Files, The First 48, Cold Case Files, and Homicide Hunter.
Tata Play customers can enjoy Investigation Discovery HD at a nominal price of Rs. 10 per month (excluding taxes). The channel is also available on D2h, another DTH service provider.
With the launch of Investigation Discovery HD, Tata Play has further strengthened its HD content portfolio, which already includes channels like Star Plus HD, Zee TV HD, Colors HD, Star Movies HD, Sony Sports Ten 4 HD, and National Geographic HD. Tata Play claims to offer more than 700 channels and services, including 75 HD channels and 80 regional channels, to its 35 million subscribers across India.
Investigation Discovery SD version which was available on LCN 155 is moved to LCN 156.
