SANSAD TV new channel which will broadcast live proceedings from Lok sabha and rajya sabha.
Lok sabha TV and Rajya sabha TV are being merged into Sansad TV.
Order regarding this has been issued. Order No.01/2021. The order reads as follows:
Consequent upon joint decision of the Hon’ble Chairman, Rajya Sabha and the Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, to merge RSTV and LSTV into Sansad Television (Sansad TV), Sri Ravi Capoor, IAS (1986: Assam-Meghalya) (Retd.) has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, Sansad TV, on contract basis, for a period of one year with immediate effect or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The Terms and Conditions related to his appointment will be issued separately.
