Airtel Digital TV, Culver Max to launch India’s first anime entertainment channel

Bharti Airtel Limited has joined hands with Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited (CMEPL) to launch Anime Booth, India’s first Anime Entertainment Channel.

Airtel, in a press release on Friday, announced its partnership with CMEPL to launch Anime Booth, a pioneering anime channel in India. The channel is set to transform the anime viewing experience in the country by offering uninterrupted, ad-free content to anime fans.

Among the array of anime titles featured on the channel, Fans can expect to find beloved classics and popular contemporary series alike. Some of the highlighted titles include the action-packed “Demon Slayer,” the iconic “Naruto” and its sequel “Naruto Shippuden,” the magical adventure “Black Clover,” the comedic escapades of “Kochikame,” the quirky sci-fi of “Sergeant Keroro,” and the thrilling exploits of “Ninjaboy Rantaro.”

The channel will be accessible through Airtel’s DTH services, including Airtel Digital TV and Airtel Xstream TV. Anime Booth will cater to a diverse segment of anime content. Priced at Rs. 1.8 per day, the service aims to provide an affordable platform for viewers to enjoy their favourite anime series without any disruptions.

Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Airtel Digital TV, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, stating that the introduction of Anime Booth marks a significant collaboration with Sony.

Leena Lele Dutta, business head – Sony YAY!, (CMEPL), also emphasized the increasing popularity of anime in India and the objective of this collaboration to enhance and elevate the anime viewing experience for India’s fervent fan community.
