Kappa TV will be removed from Dish TV & D2H from 1st July 2023

Kappa TV, a Malayalam-language music channel, will be removed from Dish TV and D2H on July 1st, 2023. The channel was available on LCN 3131 and was free to air.

The reason for the removal of Kappa TV is not yet known. However, it is possible that the channel was not generating enough viewership to justify its continued carriage on Dish TV and D2H.

Kappa TV’s removal is a blow to Malayalam-language music fans. The channel was one of the few Malayalam-language music channels available on Dish TV and D2H.

The removal of Kappa TV is a sign of the changing landscape of the media industry. As more and more people are cutting the cord and moving to streaming services, traditional pay-TV providers are facing increasing pressure to reduce their costs. This could lead to the removal of even more channels in the future.  Viewers who are looking for a way to watch Malayalam music after Kappa TV removal may want to consider subscribing to a streaming service that offers Malayalam music channels. Some popular streaming services that offer Malayalam music channels include YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple Music. Viewers may also be able to watch Kappa TV on other platforms, such as the channel’s website or its app. However, it is important to note that these platforms may not offer the same features as the channel’s traditional broadcast.
